Captured and unjustly condemned for her faith and bold mission, St. Joan of Arc was burned at the stake at just 19 years old. She was canonized in 1920 and is now honored as the patron saint of France, soldiers, captives, and those who face trials with courage and conviction. Her feast day is celebrated on May 30th.
